Dual Perception

Dual Perception is a wall-mounted concertina piece that shifts as the viewer moves. Made with reclaimed cabinet doors, complete with the original keyhole, the piece holds two images of a hydrangea: one in full bloom and the other dried and withered. As you pass by, fragmented sections align to reveal a complete image, reflecting how perspective can alter what we see. This interplay of movement and transformation speaks to the fluid nature of identity, the hidden layers of masking, and the ever-shifting ways we present ourselves to the world.
